An infection has spread, turning pads into zombies that will now try to kill you. Some of them have suddenly learned to run and will run towards you. The mod infects pads within 75 meters and turns them into zombies. They will get out of the car and chase you. Some of them will run towards the player.
How to install:
- Install scripthookV
- Install scripthookVdotNet
- Install Lua
- Copy the file infectionV.cs into the scripts folder. If you don't have one, create one.
- Done. Press F9 to activate the mod.

- Added new Boomer zombie type (explosive infected).
- Added full Blackout system (city lights disabled, vehicle lights excluded).
- Increased Runner and Boomer spawns during night (20:00–06:00).
- Added night danger warning and green morning notification.
- Added new Runner sounds (aggressive on‑fire scream variant).
- Added Boomer general sound + proximity warning sound.
- Added Medikit drop system with pickup sound.
- Increased zombie damage for higher threat.
- Added 2.5s damage cooldown to prevent instant multi‑hits.
- Added 3s protection after character switching.
- Fixed texture flickering, especially while aiming.
- Fixed animals no longer transforming into human zombie types.
- Slow Zombies are silent again.
- Improved Runner animation and overall balancing.
-A notification has been added for activating and deactivating the mod.
-The blood textures of all zombies have been improved.

- Fixed an issue where some pads were ignored and not infected.
- Fixed a bug causing infected cops to keep their normal AI behavior.
- Added a new zombie type: Sprinter.
- Reworked and improved the entire drop system (instant drops, correct physics, reliable placement).
- Adjusted Sprinter spawn chances (Day 13%, Night 23%).
- Improved medikit drop behavior (no clipping, no delayed spawns).
- Reduced flickering (engine‑limited, but now far less noticeable).
- General stability improvements across infection logic and zombie reactions.
