1.5b Hotfix - Fixes GunRecoil.ini, the script was picking up decimals as normal numbers. 1.0 meant 10. Not anymore.
Inspired by Cass' request.
Update 1.5
- Reworked the tilted recoil
- Removed the effect in vehicles
- Removed the effect in any throwable weapon, only guns should trigger it now
- Added all the relevant multipliers into GunRecoi.ini so you guys can finetune it yourselves
- Added Silencer multiplier
2.0 Would feature something related to NPCs. Them ragdolling when firing RPGs and not crouching (high center of mass), maybe.
Features
Each bullet type has its own recoil value. After that:
Recoil Increases when the gun...
- is held with one hand
- is very short (SNS Pistol, for example)
Recoil decreases when the gun...
- is long-barreled
- is held with both hands
- is held on the shoulder, or you're aiming down its sights
- has a Grip attachment
Cheats (º or ´ key)
recoil toggle - toggles the functionality. Great to compare before/after behavior.
recoil debug - enables Debug information.
recoil reload - reloads the values from GunRecoil.ini.
Installation
All files go into (GTA V Folder)/Scripts/.
If you don't have it, congratulations, this is your first script.
Create the scripts folder and put them there.

when i installed this it didn't work, then i changed "," to "." and it worked but only upwards. the recoil doesn't go to the left or right

bro when i shoot it recoils into the sky like its lock there when u shoot.

This mod is great, but as much as i like it Rocket launchers are desinged to have no recoil

It doesn't work even if you change the "," to "." the recoil goes to the sky!

@EmbraceTheHate Rocket launchers IRL do not have recoil. In a rocket launcher the end of the barrel is open - so the exhaust goes out the back of the launcer and only acts on the air behind the soldier firing it. That technically is the recoil, but it’s not felt by the user.

Deltag i samtalen! Log Ind eller registrere for at kunne kommentere.
While working on 1.5 I have noticed some weapons have a forced camera shake (LMGs, for exaple) which screws with the experience if you have the recoil enabled. I am not able to disable those for now. I'll keep trying.
