Use OpenIV drag and drop weapons.oac into GTAV/mods/x64/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf
then drag and drop ptl combat.oac into GTAV/mods/x64/sfx/WEAPONS PLAYER/rpf

AWC method: Replace the AWC
weapons.awc in GTAV/mods/x64/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf
then drag and drop ptl combat.awc into GTAV/mods/x64/sfx/WEAPONS PLAYER/rpf

Now run GTA V and check it out by yourself

No one had made it before so I decided to do it by myself and share it with you all

This mod does work and has been tested on 2 separate computers and it works,I don't know why it's not working for some people but please carefully read install instructions before giving bad rating,I uploaded it for a reason, not to make people mad about it because it's not working,Make sure your weapons.awc is not oversized which that causes the sounds to stop working
@chapstick version 1.1 Uploaded which contains AWC file for easier install,Try that one if OAC didn't work

@bbmm__20 hmm I don't know then I had a friend of mine to try it and it worked for him and it also works for me with the AWC method so I don't what else can be causing this problem on some users
@paintmods ptl_combat.awc is work but when I am replacing WEAPONS PLAYER The sound disappears
@bbmm__20 ptl_combat goes in WEAPONS_PLAYER and weapons.awc goes in GTAV/mods/x64/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf

i think it works for me, i only put ptl_combat.awc in "weapons_player.rtf" because i use realgunsound oiv so i tried first ur method and there's no sound, then i re install rgs oiv then only put pl_combat and i think it's worked

HOW COME SOME FILES IN SOME GUN SOUND MODS ONLY HAVE OAC. FILES AND NOT AWC.?? EVERY TIME I GRT A GUN SOUND MOD WITH OAC. FILES ONLY, IT NEVER WORKS FOR ME.
