An air gun which shoots darts filled with a drug that, when injected, paralizes and sedates the target. Supplied dose of drug adjusted for cattle. Don't poke at yourself.
If used on cattle: precise, quiet, non-traumatising, easy to use by an untrained farmer.
If used on people: nearly silent, single round, inconvenient to reload under gunfire, hard to aim. However, if you manage to hit someone, very likely to overdose and kill them in a couple seconds.
This little pistol will fit any GTA niche, be it wreaking havoc in Singleplayer, going through story missions or roleplaying as obscure Chief Animal Control Officer in LSPDFR or FiveM.

@Bob_Hunt are you using Dilapidated's gameconfig (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-xml-dilapidated) that was my problem. I was using some other gameconfig and used poolmanager to determine the cause of the crash. According to the log cpickupdata in the gameconfig I was using was limited. When I checked the gameconfig I was unable to find the cpickupdata pool. When I checked out dilapidated's gameconfig I saw that it had experimental features to increase the limits to add-on mods beyond just vehicles and maps. After installing his gameconfig the game worked perfectly. @W.. @WildBrick142 just a heads up if you want to include this particular gameconfig as a prerequisite to this mod. Cheers well done!

@DozyGamer a good gameconfig like Dilapidated's is a prerequisite for ANY mod at this point, honestly I expected that to be a common knowledge. GTA is really hitting its limits with all those updates :'<
I appreciate the detailed explanation for fixing the crash, couldn't bother doing that in the description lol. I'll pin your comment. CPickupData is probably the most common cause of crashes with weapon-related mods, I've had it too with this gun.

for the image of the dart pistol how have you done it?
Have you mixed many existing images, have you done it by yourself, or have you got things that help you do this image (a site or whatever).
I'm looking forward to knowing how to find/do images in GTA Style for a mod but I can't find ...

@Caprisun thank you! @WildBrick142 made the HUD icon. I don't know his ways, but assume he drawn the image himself, as he had asked me for a side image of the gun to make it.

@Xire You have to spawn it via trainer, that's why the author put "Spawn name:
WEAPON_DARTGUN" in the description.
OpenIV crash: When trying to view the .ydr model in OpenIV, it crashes the entire application. This only happens to this particular model.
@unitedOrange66 That's a given, hence why I politely asked incase it did.
@Xire nope, I wish. Unfortunately that's not possible to implement without additional scripts - all map pickups are hardcoded in some game script. We found a workaround thought, the pistol will be added to your inventory when entering this truck: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/vapid-kennel-animal-control-truck-sp-fivem-add-on. Its author just needs to update it with that feature, hopefully he gets to that soon.
@unitedOrange66 the mod is made to be played in THE GAME, not OpenIV. This crash was explained somewhere earlier, here in comments

You did not mention this in the description, and your point is flawed: You are not justifying or proving any explanations for why the model causes OpenIV to crash. You're simply "attacking the source(the person who pointed out the issue, apparently I'm the second one)" by capitalizing "IN GAME" to avoid addressing the OpenIV crash. Remember that we're not here to be a jerk or criticize your hard work. Also, viewing models in OpenIV when installing a new mod is what every experienced modder does. We are not stupid and having fun with OpenIV instead of playing the damn GAME. I suppose we should keep our mouth shut if we ever suspected any possible/obvious "issues" with any "creative" mods.

@unitedOrange66 really sorry if that sounded like a personal attack, I never intended that to be an aggressive reply, rather a confused one. You're not the second one to point that out, maybe the dozenth, perhaps I got a bit annoyed with that. I honestly don't think a weapon model is worth seeing it in OIV when you have a mich better environment to experience the mod altogether, in action.
The reason for the crash is (most likely) something that's outdated in OpenV and can't handle something (from my tests, either geometry or shader settings) the weapon model that was made using Sollumz, a much newer tool.
