@Brad-95 dude, you probably installed the oiv whilst openIV was in edit mode. All that is likely to have happened is your dlclist got corrupted which makes the game crash. If you rename the mods folder, the vanilla game will still run fine because it's the mods folder that is trying to read the broken dlclist. If you copy and paste or extract the dlclist (update\update.rpf\common\data) and then type in whatever DLC's you were using (mods\update\x64\dlcpacks), everything should work ok. In the future, if you don't have enough memory to back up your modded update.rpf, you can always rename an .oiv extention into a .rar, look at the contents file and see what files get added or changed so you have the option to install mods manually and only have to extract a few mb instead of gb. Even if Larcius's mod somehow did break your game, take some responsibility and backup your files so if this happens again, all you have to do is drag and drop only one file. It's happened to me so many times over the years so I know how pissed off you are but it's fun figuring out why things happen. I'm at the point where I get excited when my game crashes, I enjoy fixing it more than I do playing!
I like this. Without further investigation though, I've seen police chases where they are shooting tasers or have shotguns sticking out of the roof and windscreen. It's probably my dispatch.meta but is it possible for a future update that you could lock them only having a pistol?
@MickieFinn, impressive update! Would it be possible to create a script that changes the vehicle deformation values? The deformation mods available require me to replace my handling/vehicles.meta's and that isn't an option. I've manually done it myself a few times but recently created a new mods folder. Rather than me going into each dlcpack and adjusting them myself, it would be awesome to think that there was a mod which could force the values to change.
I would like to change how much blood mist appears whenever a vehicle collides with a ped, I think I can do that by changing a value in decals.dat but I'm out my depth and don't care enough to test dozens of times so I was hoping someone would know the best way to go about doing that please?
essential, 5*. 'posts of steel' (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/posts-of-steel) goes well with this

It worked with no issue i'm just really disappointed that the last update was nearly 9 years ago. This still has so much potential

Is this capable of dealing with ymt/ynt/ynv too and if so, would those files just go in 'override' as they already exist?

finally!
excited is an understatement, thank you!
Jokes aside, take the knife off the cockroach and there is opportunity for pest control mods
