I have Radeon R9 280x Black OC edition (average card by today's standards) I started on default settings and turned mostly everything up to very high settings, never drops below 28fps. I get hardly any fps drops. maybe 1 to 5 with version 1.6. With version 17, maybe 2 to 8 fps drop. Still....
Very playable.
Only one problem though.... v1.7 is not yet compatible with story mode... from start of a new game, very first mission is bugged, and I crashed shortly after finishing first repo mission with Franklin. If you want a copy of version 1.6, let me know and I can give it to you. I know that autofan999 will be working on this and fixing this. This mod is just too good to not make sure it's compatible with story mode and causes no crashes. V 1.6 blew my mind! I drove around everywhere and felt like L.A. Much more immersive. So far, I am not installing any other map mods because of how good this one is. This really is the only map mod you need! (now i sound like i kissing autofan999's ass lol) Hope I answered your question well enough.
@autofan999 it's the very first mission. You did things to the car lot, you know the one you repo for? The mission where you meet Michael's son trying to buy a car.

So I downloaded this, started brand new game, and first mission is bugged because you messed with the car salesman's garage. Can you please fix this? Maybe not mess with mission areas in the future. I also got a crash to desktop while playing with new version. Was driving around after first mission and BOOM, froze for a second and completely force closed to desktop. No error. Looks like I will be using old version till new one is stable and compatible with story mode completely.
Fantastic job on this so far!!!! This is the one and only world mod that I need. You should make a real LA version optional file, one that replaces all ads on taxis, billboards, posters, magazines, just everything. Everyone else that has done billboard and poster mods, duplicate new poster designs, use crappy logo for billboards, and I think that when you got time away from the regular part of the mod, that you look into it. Hell I will help you with this when ready. I can get you all current real billboards and posters that are in LA right now! I can even get you current magazine covers for playboy, penthouse, time, LA magazine, Vogue, whatever you need! Just let me know when and if you are ready to add such a thing to this game.

Why call it forza horizon when it has nothing to do with it? Did you import handling from forza?
