This is my first mod. This mod is very basic. It allows you to spawn animal companions using the number keys (not NumPad). Here is a list of the keys for each animal:
1: Hen
2: Pig
3: Deer
4: Cat
5: Rabbit
6: German Shepherd Dog
7: Rat
8: Chimpanzee
9: Cow
0: Rottweiler Dog
INSTALLATION:
Simply place PetsV.dll in your scripts folder. Be sure to have ScripthookV and ScripthookVDotNet installed.
I hope you enjoy this mod. I am looking into making more complex mods in the future.

@baneofpoo2 I'm pretty much on ultra and some high, advanced settings off. No msaa, fxaa on and I run at 1440p. I sometimes get 20-25 fps lol so I feel you.
@CPTECH i use 4x msaa and fxaa is on too i run on 1080p with around 30-40 fps i really want a 4k monitor but dont want to spend $500 for a 28" right now i have a 32" and i dont want to go lower but i want perfect clear monitor
@baneofpoo2 Same here man but stuck with a 1080p screen for now :/ been using upscaled 1440p. you maybe able to find a cheaper one than that

will that be possible to conider making an update to this mod --> a function that allows Pets to sit together with you into cars, trucks? (mostly related to cats and dogs and pigs with rabbits)
@duration I think that maybe possible. As i gain more experience in making GTA V scripts I will try to come back and make updates for this mod.
@CPTECH please also make mod to change player into animal (ingame menu would be better than hotkey)

why not just use Animal Ark or whatever its called....

I agree with @MrGlavez a pet (especially a dog) that can attack would be a lot of fun, especially paired with LSPD:FR.
@theninja35 Actually thinking about it id like to make an shepherd attack dog addon for LSPD:FR like you said kind of, Think it would be a good idea?

it would be great if we could choose the color of the animal, and also if we could dismiss him. because when you teleport, the animal teleports with you
