Decapitation is a mod for GTA V that adds realistic and brutal decapitation effects to pedestrians, when you shoot a pedestrian in the head with a powerful weapon their head will get destroyed and blood will start spraying and spilling out of the remains of the pedestrians lower-half of their head.
How to install:
Get GTAVTools from https://github.com/sparklingspacess/GTAVTools/releases/tag/main
If you do not have OpenIV get it at https://openiv.com
Make sure you have ScriptHookV, ScriptHookV .NET and OpenIV.asi installed into your game.
Drag GTAVTools.dll and GTAVMemScanner.dll into your "scripts" folder in the game directory, if you do not have one create it.
Download this mod.
Extract the zip into wherever (desktop is recommended).
Run OpenIV and in the game selection screen choose GTA V for Windows.
Enter your games folder location (you only have to do this once).
Navigate to the topbar and click Tools then click ASI Manager.
Install ASI Loader.
Install OpenIV.ASI.
Optionally, you can install openCamera to remove the camera limits within the Rockstar Editor.
Once you have done all of that, open the folder for your specific game version.
Run Install.oiv and press the white Install button and choose the Mods folder.
Press the Install button with the blue checkmark and wait for it to finish.
Once it has finished close the window and copy Decapitation.dll from this mods extracted folder into your "scripts" folder.
The mod is now installed!

Game hang... then crashes when aiming with sniper rifle and DOESN*T decapitate when useing the other weapons as ststed.
@J-Glenn64 did you install gtavtools correctly? its a requirement
@sparklingspacess yes... did everything as to your instrutions. Hade to remove everything from this mod to get back my game after the Sniper MK2 zoom in hang... and the restart crashing. (GTA V Legacy v3725_1.72) All is up to date with S-H, S-H.Net, & Lemon UI.
@J-Glenn64 i tested with all my mods removed besides this and gtavtools and never had that issue so until i can somehow recreate it i can't help you man, sorry

Hi. I found a bug in the mod in version 3411 .1.70. After ripping off a head, the police in the body armor don't die, but continue running around without a head. I think you need to add automatic death after ripping off a limb.The NPC still has health and runs around without a head.

bro how do i delete this ive tried everything nothing works my game keeps crashing unplayable someone help
@sparklingspacess can you add gore variations? instead of just one stump always showing you could add a half head gore/gib, no head at all, no jaw head gore, or one side of the head is removed gore. also please add limb dismemberment too and please add settings or configs so we can choose wht weapons causes dismemberment etc
@DNO-TW1TCHA was wondering if anyone had this issue or if it was just on my end, ill fix it
@masteryofrice in the next update there is a config file to control stuff like what weapons decapitate peds, as for other types of gore, i would need to model those variations for every peds head model which would result in the .oiv installer becoming massive and would probably be a bit buggy, ill see if i can get something looking good enough tho
