Decapitation is a mod for GTA V that adds realistic and brutal decapitation effects to pedestrians, when you shoot a pedestrian in the head with a powerful weapon their head will get destroyed and blood will start spraying and spilling out of the remains of the pedestrians lower-half of their head.
How to install:
Get GTAVTools from https://github.com/sparklingspacess/GTAVTools/releases/tag/main
If you do not have OpenIV get it at https://openiv.com
Make sure you have ScriptHookV, ScriptHookV .NET and OpenIV.asi installed into your game.
Drag GTAVTools.dll and GTAVMemScanner.dll into your "scripts" folder in the game directory, if you do not have one create it.
Download this mod.
Extract the zip into wherever (desktop is recommended).
Run OpenIV and in the game selection screen choose GTA V for Windows.
Enter your games folder location (you only have to do this once).
Navigate to the topbar and click Tools then click ASI Manager.
Install ASI Loader.
Install OpenIV.ASI.
Optionally, you can install openCamera to remove the camera limits within the Rockstar Editor.
Once you have done all of that, double click the Models.oiv file inside this mods extracted zip.
Press the white Install button and choose the Mods folder.
Press the Install button with the blue checkmark and wait for it to finish.
Once it has finished close the window and copy Decapitation.dll from this mods extracted folder into your "scripts" folder.
The mod is now installed!

@sparklingspacess Thanks for bringing back this mod Its really good but I don't like the pinkish blood make it a bit darker nonetheless great mod! Also is it possible for other limb decapitation?
@sparklingspacess But its approach causes a problem, you can use the dismemberment mod made by jedijosh920 using the API provided by its script. There is a high probability that the part of the character will be elongated after the part is hidden, especially when the character falls to the ground, it will be 100% triggered by dismemberment
@JoyLucien this mod also sometimes has that issue when they get decapitated on the ground but it usually doesn't go super elongated, this mod just sets the reset flag 166 and doesn't use any memory hooks

Suggestions:
Some weapons should do that action in close-mid distances aside mid. I mean the distance to blowing the head should be dropped (or adjustable via .ini)
-Making an adjustable .ini file where players can adjust the distance, weapons can be added/adjusted (supporting addon weapons)
Which weapons should be added ?
-.50 Pistol, Perico Pistol (Handguns)
-Unholy Hellbringer (SMGs/LMGs)
-Some 7.62 rifles like Assault (not mk2), Compact and Battle Rifle for immersion but in close distances.
-All shotguns
-Widowmaker and explosives
-Melee for fun :P
@Platface believe it or not i actually am working on an update that adds custom weapons and close up decapitation with rifles, the configuration is lacking a bit right now but i'm gonna add more options and polish it up

HOW TO UNISTALL THE OIV INSTALLATION?
@Bigsossa just get an oiv package installer to easily remove oiv mods and install them , it saved my gta 5 many times

@Bigsossa told ya to install OIV PACKAGE INSTALLER , open iv dosent care what happens to ur game after an oiv is installed , try to remove depcapitation or dismemberment from dlclist.xml from mods>update>update.rpf>common>data and also remove decapitation or dismemberment from dlpacks in mods>update>x64>dlcpacks
@sparklingspacess Any chance to add the feature to also blow out limbs? There's one mod that does that, but it's outdated and very buggy.
