Mod Description
------------------------
Auto Run And Sprint introduces a smooth 3-stage movement system designed primarily for controller, but should also work on keyboard.
Walk, run, and sprint are now fully separated into clean, controllable states.
No more tapping A repeatedly or holding A just to move around. Instead, you can switch between movement stages at any time, letting you stay in full control while keeping your right thumb free to do what ever you want with it.
This system provides a much more natural and fluid movement experience, especially during combat and exploration.
Controls

Controller:
Hold A (0.7 seconds) - Activate Auto Run (sprint on keyboard)
Hold Left Stick Click / L3 (0.7 seconds) - Activate Auto Sprint (duck on keyboard)
Hold A (0.7 seconds while sprinting) - Return to Auto Run (sprint on keyboard)
Stop movement - Reset back to walking

Installation

1. Locate your GTA V ROOT DIRECTORY.
(This is the folder containing GTA5 Enhanced.exe)
(usually @ C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced)
2. Copy the AutoRunAndSprint.dll into scripts folder:
Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\scripts
3. Launch GTA V in Story Mode.

@Aztecz8798 lmaoo i had a bit of a stockpile of really crappy made scripts from when i was younger, now that i got back into just working off that really but i spent alot of time on the police ride mod adding a whole much of mechanics i never used befor, so it kind of gave me a blueprint to work off of , to get certain mechanics working, without all the inital figuring out faze now i got a broken leg and all the time in the world :'( . but cheers much appriciated brother!

known issue disabling the tutorial pop up messages in the ini, not corresponding in game. fix will be up shortly. thanks for patients

if you want i can add a preset feature or ill make it configurable. itll be pretty easy if all you want is sprint changed to the a button as well lol

@DonDonny the rating shouldn't make you upset, it's my honest view of the script. I see it complicated and doesn't help. Besides the L3 button is assigned for stealth mode, and that slows the running when pressed. Not ideal for quick gameplay where responsiveness is needed.
But don't take this as rating of your mods developement, take it as feedback.
I don't think adding preset features nor changing the L3 button will help, because then you will be making an already made script that is this one: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/sprint-with-controller-a

@WTLS_81 your feed back is literally making it that mod though? so im just wondering why you didnt use it, or if its outdated? i do appricate your feedback, and i will be switching how its activated or atleast the ability for keybinds. its not a huge issue tbh . ill give you an @ when theres an update and hopefully get your mind changed if you were actually looking for a controller auto sprint script

@DonDonny Hey there! This mod seems very useful, but honestly, it sounds kinda convoluted, lol.
If you have the time, could it be possible that we could get a version where tapping the A button while moving makes you run, then sprint, then just walk? Meaning, taping the button triggers the change and then cycles back. If you stop and then move again, you'll be walking and the process is the same.
