  • Nicely compiled and works great with mods like Extended Los Santos Customs, thank you!

  • Really enjoying this one, thanks!

  • Works great, would be nice if there was a simple way to change prices or a preset to swap to vanilla/realistic prices rather than GTA Online prices.

  • @NativeCoder I've unfortunately not had any luck with this version either, same issues as before. Might be worth checking if others with other Script mods etc. have got it working, in case there's something I've done wrong.

  • @NativeCoder I'm not sure what's short circuiting it, I only had ScriptHook V and ScriptHook Dot Net V, after removing all files for those mods, I still kept getting ERR_FIL_PACK3 error.
Then upon removing the mods folder and dsound, the game ran fine.

Side note, for comparison, I also tested with NVE's Onigiri loader (was not installed for previous tests), installed scripthook dependencies, installed dlc packs/addons, did not have to install DirectStorage (either onigiri.asi or nve.asi does this fix already) and all my mods booted up, was visible in game. Onigiri isn't overly flexible, but it's easy to add addons.

  • @NativeCoder Curious, do you run any other asi loader or scripthook v along with your setup? Cause I don't think my mods were loading properly before either now that I think of it as I was just looking at logs, but in game they weren't present.

I ask as I've got Chihebs Script V Dot Net Enhanced and Alex's Scripthook V installed, they come with their .dll files. When I start my game with mods in the script folder, I get an error saying I need DirectStorage.asi. So if I download that, along with SimpleModLoader then I get ERR_FILE_PACK3 error. Then if I remove the mods folder, my scripts and the game runs. There's some sort of conflict, but logs don't seem to show anything.

This is the dsound log on the last attempt where the game crashed

  • @NativeCoder Thanks for getting back, this was my first time downloading this, so used 1.3, however, just tried 1.2 and had fewer/no crash related issues, however, the DLC pack issue still persisted.

    Steps I took:
    - Removed all old Simple Mod Loader 1.3 associated files -> Recreate folder structure for mod -> Add DSOUND -> Start game -> Mods loaded
    - Add new addon to dlcpacks -> start game -> mod not loaded -> logs show files were built/accessed -> dlclist.xml in .temp folder is missing the new addon

  • The mod loader definitely needs more safe guards, I've faced a lot of Zlib failed to initialise and game corrupt errors, for example when I add more addons to dlcpacks, upon starting the game, it fails to identify the new addons and doesn't load them, probably cause it's relying on the cache, if I delete the .tmp folder so that it can recreate the files, the game then returns the corruption error. But the concept is very cool!

  • Ello, I'm running GTA 5 Enhanced with NVE and LWE, along with a couple of script mods. Adding all the files crashed my game upon loading, however, if I only use the gameconfig, the game runs fine and I get the benefits of the added traffic. I believe it's the pop files that might possibly causing crashes? I then tried using Traffic V Fear Edition, and the pop files on that mod worked fine.

Either way, gameconfig is solid, worked straight out the box!

  • Hey JMC, I previously tried this on Legacy and loved the concept, any plans to bring this over to Enhanced?

I was able to get it partially working on Enhanced, but character creation and all the HUD elements were unfortunately scuffed, installed em via Onigiri (NVE) and OpenIV to get the Scaleform file.
