as @elsanhoty pointed out, i screwed up on the naming of the .ini file. I did not hardcode the name so by default it assumes the same name as the .dll. If you want to change the key to enable/disable the script, rename the ini file to JCTVPlayer.ini.
Apologies for the screwup.
@elsanhoty did you put the ini file in same location as the dll? I'll check on my side. I did rename files, i may have screwed up. thanks

@mcshithead Ok. That's why these files are the perfect recipe for malware. They let you know in advance that there will be a false positive so you don't have to worry. In passing, anti-virus and other similar software don't scan for malicious code. I've done this test myself, created an exe that has delete and format commands and they will fly through Virus Total or whatever you use with flying colours because they only scan for mainstream viruses that have been out for months, years, or decades.
@JoyLucien Thanks for your help but I'm not taking the big screen any further because it won't work well in SP - you can't stream video (from url or locally) as you can in FiveM. For SP the smaller screens will give sharper results than the huge displays.
@mcshithead Lol. I'm guessing at what files you put, and if I'm right you never know what malicious code those files might contain. Anyway, hope it is fixed and safely fixed.
@BULLFAYCE agreed and this is easy to do with a LemonUI menu. Possible enhancement.

@JoyLucien Not a fan of outlines or different colour strokes. Green text on green grass obviously isn't going to appear properly. Similarly, black text against a black sky, white text on a white wall, etc. The simple solution is to move the mouse so that the text appears against a suitable background. I prefer clean text rather than something that looks like a 1990s website.
@mcshithead so what exactly was your issue, and what was the solution? A crash in loading screen has nothing to do with "update required". The most common fix for a crash is a new gameconfig.xml or making sure you have the one for your version of the game.
