@beizegum Yep, changed most of those, and I have a newly tweaked version to upload. I can do multiple versions if someone wants.

@vvdevil Yeah, it just lowers all the melee damage settings. Can finally fistfight and melee without killing peds on the first hit.

@Hayuru Yeah, needs to be more like in IV - I'll try to figure out if there's a way to get the hurt flag to work. This mod is really just a 5min edit of the damages file. I'm kinda disappointed that it's this easy to fix the melee, people have been asking for this since release.

@Hayuru I add to common.rpf (backup first - if you don't you can always re-download though) I've heard you can add to update.rpf and it will override, but I haven't confirmed that.

@FANTOMTRON It's damage for peds, (It may alter damage for melee attacks on the player as well, I haven't tested that part of it yet)

How difficult is it to display this as a number? -would be super useful for health mod testing

Ok, sorry to keep spamming - it does seem to work in some instances. Just tasered a cop a bunch of times. - off to see if you have a mod thread. Need to figure out how to get this working across all peds.

Ok, got things to work, but changing these settings doesn't really seem to do anything. There's something else at work behind the scenes. I can change the health to 10000 and it's reflected in your own healthpool, but peds will still die in a couple shots.

Maybe the game's not seeing my updates for some reason
