@Marksman Whats poor about the textures? Its clearly designed to be an m16 which was made in the 1960s the textures or the quality of the weapon wont be immaculate especially if its seen years of use and abuse. I bet you if Sxprk wanted to he could easily release a pristine version of the weapon with "perfect textures" in your eyes. Let him have his own style of what he wanted to create. If you wanted to be supportive of other weapon devs etc. maybe dont call there work "icky" & give them actual review.
