@Spy_Pug the ASI loader (the only one available, which is needed to even use the mods) is incompatible with the EGS version of GTA V, hence an update is needed.

@XxICEDxX that should be the case, but as mentioned above it'll tell you if you need ScriptHookV to use the mod. If it says you do, then you won't be able to use it due to not having the ASI loader.
@XxICEDxX I found that it was the ASI loader (dinput8.dll) that was causing the crashes. It requires an older version of GTA V, and so with the Epic Games Store version it won't work. This is bad because you need the ASI loader to use the mods in game, so if you want GTA to run, remove the dinput8.dll file. However, you won't be able to use the menus in game since that file is the ASI loader.
@Jordi93 at first it seems hard since you don't understand much, but once you learn how (which is easily done by reading descriptions, watching videos, talking in comments/forums) it becomes relatively easy. Each mod/game might have slightly different ways of modding, but the knowledge you learn for 1 game usually helps with others.
@Jordi93 atm, there isn't much you can do in the way of mods that isn't complicated. I only started modding GTA V today and I'm sort of at a stand still. MY advice: wait for this to be updated for the version of GTA V that we got for free, then ask again. Most of the instructions are in a read-me text file that you get when downloading this mod. If this is your first time modding a game, try and watch YouTube videos on modding PC games. Best of luck.
@VoidPancake Thing is, it also reset my data, so I had to restart the game from scratch. Also, idk how to use commands in-game, but it doesn't matter, I don't plan on using FiveM.
I wouldn't recommend FiveM, due to my experiences. It is a service that allows you to play modded servers, including online. You have to run GTA through FiveM tho, which is eh.
