Initial release: v1.0 - 1/21/2016
Premise:
Speed Bus is based on the movie Speed, in which a bus full of passengers must be kept at a certain speed or the bus will explode. When you start Speed Bus you will spawn into a city bus full of passengers and a destination to deliver them to will be set on your mini-map. You will then have 30 seconds (timer shown on-screen) to get the bus up to 20mph or it will explode. Once you reach 20mph you must keep the bus at 20mph or faster and get to the destination. Reaching the destination successfully ends the mission and awards you one more successful saving of the bus and passengers. Exploding results in fiery death and carnage! If you go below 20mph the bus will explode, killing you and all the passengers. The number of times you successfully save the bus will be saved, along with other stats, which you can view while in-mission.
Prerequisites:
ScriptHookVDotNet
Installation:
Just copy the contents of this zip to your GTAV scripts directory. If it doesn't exist yet, just create it and drop SpeedBus.dll and SpeedBus.ini into it. Typically, the path to this is: ".\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\"

@ISOFX After looking at Enumerator's code, it appears that his works when you get on a bus yourself. With mine, you press NumPad7 to spawn into a new bus with passengers to start the mission. Also, his version appears to contain a lot of custom audio triggers, which I'm not sure what the point of is, but mine does not. Mine is different also in that it saves your stats: how many buses you have saved, buses lost, passengers killed, etc. And lastly, mine includes an INI file that allows you to configure keys and the minimum speed at which the bus needs to be kept.
Nice.

same? https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/speed-mod-random-bomb-on-bus
Cool! but i was thinking the same thing as @qiangqiang101. They both do the same thing?
@qiangqiang101 Ha! You're right. Pretty much the same thing. :) Honestly, I didn't even check to see if this existed already. I figured it probably did. It's just my first GTA mod.
this like the movie SPEED :D great
@qiangqiang101 to be fair this is an more updated version
There was a custom vehicle of the actual bus from the movie for GTA IV, it would be amazing if someone could convert it to V!!! :) http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/1969-gm-new-look-fishbowl-from-the-movie-spee-f19018
@85pphoenix That WOULD be awesome! I contacted the creator of the 1969 GM Bus and asked him if he would, or let me, do the conversion to GTAV to go with my mod. So, hopefully he still checks his email. :)
@WingsOnHigh Did he reply?
omg, all your mod are amazing !! continue to make mods please !!! im very funny when i watch your videos :D
@85pphoenix He did! However, the file is locked and I can't edit it to convert it to a GTAV vehicle. He referred me to a different version by Carface08 and it looks good but I need to buy ZModeler2 and probably ZModeler3, plus a few other things and then figure out the conversion process. So yeah, it might take me a while to get that done. If someone from the community wanted to help out, that'd rock!
@salvuz Thank you!!! I will!
@WingsOnHigh Yeah I did a re-texture of the bus as there were a few textures that weren't quite right like the sign on the back of the bus, I made it as screen accurate as I could. Then tried to import into zmod2 and boom! it was locked lol I heard you can use 3dxripper or ninjaripper and the openiv viewer to capture the mesh, does he not still have the original model? I mean surely you wouldn't spend all that time making something like that then just bin it... As Speed is in Los Santos I mean LA ;) This fits so much better than GTAIV. All we'd need after that is a little keanu model :)
@85pphoenix That was my thought, about him not ponying up his model. He didn't say anything about not having it anymore. I figure he just didn't want to give it out. If I weren't neck-deep in the code for my 4th mod, I'd spend more time looking into this, and will, when I get to a stopping point. Code addiction is a bizzotch! =)
Another great GTA V mission mod! Reminds me of GTA Vice City where in one of the missions you had to keep driving fast or otherwise your car would blow up. I have no idea why Rockstar decided to remove missions like these from GTA V. Thanks for making this interesting mission mod! :P
