This mod will diversify gang-related gameplay
by allowing territory capturing and introducing advanced companion mechanics.


How to install:
Drop Hoodcore.dll, Hoodcore folder & Hoodcore.ini into the scripts folder.
You'll need ScriptHook V and ScriptHook .Net


Controls:
  • Sprint + Detonate [Shift + G on PC]: Gang selection menu
  • Sprint + Vehicle headlights [Shift + H on PC]: Companion menu

  • Internal improvements and stability fixes

  • Added roaming bulk vans: gang-owned transport vans carrying 0.5–2kg of cargo, manned by a driver, 1–2 passengers, and 0–3 escort vehicles.
    • Van locations intercepted as phone messages with accept/ignore UI
    • Crew defends the van and escorts pursue if you take the cargo
    • 50% chance of a follow-up gang ambush 30–60 seconds later

  • Added interaction-system toggle (Aim + Vehicle Duck) that instantly clears active dialogues and restores ped targeting
  • Added on-character-switch gang reload: when IdentiSwitch swaps characters, saved gang relationship is re-applied immediately
  • Added gang-member visual variety: 20 random micro-morphs plus randomized ageing and complexion overlays so members of the same gang no longer look identical
  • Fixed cops ignoring the player while in a gang — Hate relationship now mirrored between Cops and player's gang group when wanted; cleared to Neutral once no longer wanted
  • Fixed dealers stacking on top of each other — spawning now skips spots within 50 units of an existing dealer
  • Fixed bulk-dealing payment briefcase occasionally failing to spawn — creation now retries up to 5 times with a clear error subtitle if it ultimately fails
  • Fixed persistent-member cleanup despawning nearby dealers and peds in vehicles — cleanup now skips dealers within 100m and skips any ped inside a vehicle
  • Improved turf war balance: attacker spawn multiplier now uses full configured value when down to a single sector; perimeter spawning suppressed during victory-hold timer to prevent ping-pong recapture loops
  • Improved radial menu feedback: audio cue on category change and on slot wrap-around
  • Performance improvement

  • Added member variation randomizer (configurable):
    • Saved member variations with same model can shuffle: haircuts, chains, legs + shoes, hats, glasses

  • AI gangs can now attack player turf (tunable in config)
  • Improved gang member in-place replacement (e.g. on Grove St)
  • Changed turf war mechanics:
    • Player can now leave/die without automatically losing the war
    • After capturing all sectors, gang must hold them for a configurable period

  • Added cheat codes: repup, repupx10, repdown, repdownx10
  • Backup & companion driving logic:
    • Call backup vehicles (availability based on reputation)

    • 30 second cooldown between backup vehicle calls
