About:
This mod simply allows you to grab your pistol with a simple animation.
since version (V1.2), is the mod no longer assigned on a specific key.
The mod now works whenever you're grabbing a pistol
Enable/Disable specific pistols:
By default as of version 1.2 and up, all the weapons in the INI file list are using the animation.
You can simple edit which one uses this mod by setting "true" to "false" in the INI file.
Bugs:
1. When restarting your scripts folder the outro animation might start.
2. You can shoot while still grabbing the pistol. (will be fixed soon)
Requirements:
1. ScripthookV
2. ScripthookV.NET
(Since the last update you might need the nightly version of scripthookvdotnet)
Install:
Place the all the files (except for the readme) into your "scripts" folder.
If you don't have a "scripts" folder. Make sure to create one in your gtav directory.
Changelogs:
V1.0 (small): Released the mod
V1.1 (small): Added a new option to choose
V1.2 (big):
1. Removed the "new option" from V1.1.
2. Rewrote the entire script.
3. Made the transition from grabbing a pistol to aiming shorter/smoother.
4. Removed the hotkey and made sure the mod works whenever grabbing your gun (weaponwheel etc).
5. Changed the INI so you can edit which pistols uses the mod.
6. Changed the name of the mod.
V1.3 (big):
1. You can now edit every pistol and a few SMG's in the INI:
2. Change wether a specific pistol/SMG uses the mod
3. Change the Draw Time to make the animation longer/shorter
4. Change the Draw Speed to change the speed of the animation
(You can combine 2 and 3 to edit the overall animation speed.
5. Change wether the Double Action Revolver uses the default holster animation.
V1.4
1. Upgraded to SHVDN 3
2. Completely removed NativeUI dependency
3. Fixed slight chance of crash when entering vehicle while switching weapon.
4. New options in INI, you can now choose wether you want to enable the mod in missions or not.
5. You can also now disable or enable the mod in vehicles.
V1.5
1. Cleaned the script a bit
2. The gun now stays hidden for a specific amount of time when grabbing it, you can customize the duration in the INI.

Possible de faire une nouvelle version avec Les fusils d'assaults (principalement carabine et ak-47) et pompes (principalement le normal ( le premier) et le canon scié) et aussi trouver une autre animation de sorties comme par exemple "front aggressive"

Hello, how are you? I’m reaching out because I’m new to the GTA V modding community and I’m having an issue with your mod Alternative Pistol Draw 1.5 (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/gangster-draw
).First, I installed Alternate Weapon Handling Animations 1.2 (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/alternate-weapon-handling-animations
), and it is working perfectly, especially the running-with-weapon animation. However, in the showcase video where this animation appears (https://youtu.be/hhN1DUnks_c
), it is also possible to see the weapon draw animation, which seems to be from your mod.I then installed Alternative Pistol Draw 1.5, carefully following all the instructions and placing the files correctly inside the “scripts” folder. However, the draw animation simply does not work in my game.
Additional information that may help:
I am using the latest version of ScriptHookVDotNet (nightly build).
I am playing on GTA V Legacy version.
It is not an incompatibility issue, because I already tested Alternative Pistol Draw 1.5 by itself, without Alternate Weapon Handling Animations installed, and it still did not work.
I also noticed that several other people are reporting the same issue in the comments.
Maybe this information can help identify what might be happening. If possible, could you please let me know if there is any additional requirement, dependency, configuration, or possible fix? It would really help me — and possibly others who are experiencing the same problem as well.

Make sure you have installed the *LATEST* version of scripthookvdotnetnightly!
