This is a simple .lua script for dynamic weather system as in FiveM to Single Player. When you travel across the city or the countryside, you'll encounter different weathers. Even when traveling from paleto bay to top of mount chiliad, weather will vary with the altitude. So, explore it. This is my first ever mod experiment, so may have bugs, I'm new to modding and don't know much. Let me know and suggest me.
Requirements:
i>ScriptHookV and ScriptHookV dot net
ii> LuaV plugin
Installation:
Just copy the weather.lua file from the mod to "/ lua" folder after installing LuaV plugin

Thanks guys. It's my first mod. I still have a lot to learn about modding and scripting. The weather cycle changes randomly and are weighed based on the location and their environment. For instance, Paleto Bay areas will have mostly foggy and stormy weather, whereas extrasunny and clear in Los Santos.
The transitions still are abrupt, most noticable when climbing from Paleto to top of Chilliad ( Rain to Snow ). I use it with Dnx Chilliad Town Map mod (great one btw, credit to Danix😊). I'm sorry for the bugs, you might encounter others too. I'll try my best to fix those soon. Thanks again for trying the mod 🫠🫠.
could you explain a bit more? is it time based? after a while it cycles different weathers or... location based? and is it too exaggerated on the rain?
Can you show a video on how this works in-game?
I downloaded and tested it out. It works pretty well but the weather pattern changes to quickly most times and cause an erupt flash especially if it's the transition from stormy to extra sunny.
Important question about installing this; I've installed LuaV plugin, but I have 2 sub folders - autocomplete & modules...which subfolder do I install this plugin?
@Pinkjughead01 You just need to copy the script to the main "lua" folder. Your lua script resides along with those subfolders.

@Pinkjughead01 Yeah, sure. And, let me know of the bugs you encounter with. Also, be sure to try it with DNX chiliad town map mod. It makes Mt. Chiliad long way up, so you can vibe with the weather transition to Snow from Thunder and Rain as you climb up from Paleto Bay to Mt. Chiliad.✌️✌️
I tested your mod and it's great. A couple little bugs with weather transition; I drove from Paleto Bay Customs all the way to the top of Mt. Chilliad. Very good mod. Keep up the great work. 👍
Just a tip, ScriptHookVDotNet isn't a requirement for LuaV or this mod, only ScriptHookV
