Thanks to jedijosh920 for the original mod
A wise man used to say "Double the gun, Double the fun". That's why Dual Wield mod by Jedijosh is all we need, sadly it's outdated. I've decided to redo the script and make it slightly prettier with a few new features other than not crashing.

ScriptHookVDotNet3, I strongly recommend to have the latest Nightly Version
This script was made on game version 3179, other versions are untested.
How to Install:
Inside the rar there are 2 things: DualWield.dll, DualWield.ini
Put all of them into the "/scripts" folder, the usual for script mods, located in gta main folder
After installation, In-game you can activate Dual Wield with X. You can change the key in the .ini config

More Gore mod by IAmJFry. If you have this, disable its PlayerHealingAnimation in its XML settings, otherwise you'll have two overlapping guns in your right hand
Addon Weapons are untested, i never used addon weapon mods, so I can't guarantee this will work with those addon guns
Shootdodge is compatible but the dual wield will automatically change to normal one gun when you activate the dodge. I can't seem to fix the twisted body so I disabled the mod.

Features:
- Ammo is now independent, it takes the original ammo and doubles it. It has its own ammo counter (on top right corner)
- No more frequent crashes (e.g entering vehicle used to crash the mod)
- More damage, now it adds player's damage. It used to utilize NPC damage only
- Now, the reload will be done twice and weapons are less accurate. Duh! you are holding two guns
- Fire rate is the same, cause it's the same gun only it holds and spits more bullets
- Changing weapon is now supported, no more crashes. Heavy guns and explosives are now forbidden to be dual-wielded
- Attachments on the firearm will be carried over to the dual-wielded one
- Controller supported, aim and press Phone Right (right arrow on default game setting)

- Aiming from one object to the other with a big distance gap (e.g close target vs the sky) makes hands a little bit jumpy
- Please reload in safe place, whenever you reload the character will stop

I'm glad this mod got revived, can't wait to dual wield some double barrel shotguns lol
Can you please reboot the bullet impact (player euphoria) mod? the mod does work but it has flaws, like player taking too long to get up sometimes and ragdolling from falling is weird.

@kanadianborn I've tested this mod and it still works, and I'm using 3179, are you sure it's broken on your end?
@mbahdokek yea it works its just the animation for the peds reaction does not play and instead the ped flops to the ground dead

@mbahdokek Of course! You should try do more. And also possibly make the other mod (and this if it doesn't work with this, haven't tested yet) work with SHV instead of the nightly version, but both versions would be great.
love the mod, I also would want to know could you possibly make it so you can only dual wield certain weapons? like only the double barrel, pistols, and some submachine guns ?

Hello @mbahdokek, great mod, but I was wondering, how did you revive it without the original code for reference? Did you run it from scratch? I was attempting to revive another script that jedijosh made, but was unable to contact him as only his discord is listed and he is not online. I was just wondering if you had a way to contact for the source.
@AG597 i've also contacted jedi but no luck, this mod is not from scratch that's why i fully credited jedi, this still belongs to him.

@Swavylmao the original mod allows you to dual wield anything even rpgs n snipers, i already limited this, i think some people would still like more freedom
@oax if you're on 3.6.0 you can just use nightly version, it's better
@mbahdokek the mods pretty cool, and i see your fixing his mods or i think that's what your doing, do you think you could try your hand at his enhanced melee combat mod? with like the tackling and stuff, such a great mod but just doesn't work anymore would be cool to have all the features fixed.
You should try using Julionib's dual wielding mod animations instead, they're much better and have up and down variants, meaning you can make the animation match the camera height too
@mbahdokek Thank you, but it's not the same tho because it just makes you trip, the mod by jedijoshi makes the player actually attempt to aim with his weapon while shooting
@HeySlickThatsMe Well no that's like stepping his boundary, he's still active and you can still use the mod, it's released in 2022 so it'll be compatible if you running latest gta. Jedi's has left his mod unattended for many years with lot of people wanting to use his mod but forced to downgrade their game so I do this for the sake of those people

@mbahdokek JulioNIB doesn't own the animations lmao it's not like it's copyright or something. it's just straight up better than these. The animations here have no recoil, and looks really buggy by comparison. Most of Jedijosh's mods are pretty half-baked in that way.
@Joe Gillian well copyright or no he came up with the idea of using those anims. I respect him cause he helped me fixed turbofix. You can always download his mod instead.
