Become A Celebrity is a single-player career overhaul that layers a complete fame-and-fortune progression system on top of the base game. Make a name for youself by performing on street corners to starring in blockbusters and fending off stalkers along the way. Manage gigs, staff, public image and random encounters in a living, celebrity life.
-FEATURES-
-Custom Celebrity Name
In the menu, personalize your career by setting your own custom name! Your name will be immersively incorporated throughout the mod through notifications and dialogue.
-CELEBRITY GIGS-
-Street Performances (Z-Lister - No requirements):
As you start your career as a Z-Lister, you'll be doing Street performances gigs across LS hoping to gain attention.
-Meet and Greets (Z-Lister - Requires 10 Fame and 500 Followers):
After you gain some fans, you can schedule Meet-and-greets with your fans as they take pictures with you and cheer you on.
-Magazine Photoshoot (Rising Star - Requires 20 Fame and 5,000 followers):
Now your career is gaining significant fame, have a photoshoot with professional photographers and pose for the camera to be featured on magazines of LS.
-Movie Stunt (STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, DON'T DO THIS GIG FOR NOW):
Your career is at its peak, you are now an A-List celebrity. Perform a movie stunt for Solomon Richards, A24, Warner Bros, and become a household name. Note: this gig hasn't been developed yet for alpha version and will come out for 1.0
-In-Game Change (Fame lvl 20)
as your fame rises, NPCs across San Andreas start to recognize you and can cheer and take pictures as you move around the map.
-Dynamic Fame Level
0-100 scale that increases by doing gigs, viral moments and scandals, and decays if you go inactive. Titles shift from Nobody to A-List Superstar.
-Public Opinion
A separate 0-100 score representing how loved or hated you are. Charity boosts it, leaked scandals tank it, and it slowly drifts back toward neutral. Increases by gigs.
-Followers Count
Passive and active follower gains drive access to higher-tier gigs and perks.
-Random In-Person Events
Paparazzi ambushes, creepy stalkers, and armed rival celebrities appear unpredictably based on fame level (above 20). Handle or escape them before timers expire or suffer fines, lost followers and bad press.
-Hireable Team (only tested for bodyguards)
Agent unlocks top-tier gigs (takes 10 Percent cut), Publicist opens PR actions (charity, smear campaigns)
Bodyguard spawns a persistent, armed escort who syncs to your group.
-PR Actions (not fully tested)
Spend cash to run charity events or leak rival scandals for opinion swings (can backfire).
-Celebrity Perks (not fully tested)
Call in a limo at Fame 40 or erase wanted levels up to three stars at Fame 60. (the Fame 60 perk is going to change)
-Persistent Career Save
All stats, staff and settings write to BecomeCelebrityCareerState.txt so your rise (or fall) survives game restarts.
-Configurable Menu
in the .ini file, configure the hotkey to open the menu, default is J.

QUICK GUIDE
-Once you start your career, first give yourself a name. Then start off with the Street Performance gig and level up until you can do the next gig and so on: being able to take on bigger gigs, making more money, fame, and followers!

HOW TO INSTALL
Simply put it in the "scripts" folder and make sure you have the requirements installed properly too. If you don't have a scripts folder then create one

I gave Rapper Life a go but unfortunately couldn't keep it due to how certain mechanics messed with the base game (e.g. Anyone in a car with me would ask for my autograph, overriding their AI and thus borking missions). Hoping this one is more user-friendly! :)
